They ship all of that stuff to 3rd world countries and donate it to people so they have clothes to wear. Then they write it off as a donation.

I know they do that with Super Bowl gear, but I don't think the do it with College. I think KL is right. I'm sure Nike did it for both sides knowing they would make enough off the team that won to cover the other side. Someone on Texags yesterday had a pic of little African kids wearing Patriots 19-0 t-shirts. Pretty funny stuff.

They do it for college, too.
Whether its Nike that does it or not I don't know.
