People of Wal-Mart were all over the Denver Airport. One guy wearing an old Ian Johnson shirt with the orange so faded it looked like piss walked past me and started talking shit when I was looking down at my phone. I yelled "wouldn't it have been cheaper if you just backed your truck up to your house and driven to Phoenix?" Tuesday morning when I was going through security some guys behind me noticed my hat and started asking stuff like "what happened? That's not the team we've seen all year. Did the coaching staff have their head up their asses? Etc..." It was just casual conversation and this woman piped up behind me "are team beat chore team..." I looked up and saw that she was missing 3 teeth on the right side of her mouth. I just looked at the TSA guy standing there and said "aren't People of Wal-Mart on the no-fly list?" Seriously, I'm not being bitter when I say this, they are some TRASHY people. I'm not even sure they're humans. At the bar in Denver we created the POWM drinking game. They showed so many crowd shots we couldn't keep up.
As for the game...out-coached, out-prepared, out-played. No excuses. I think the hardest thing to swallow is being out-coached. The play calling was very puzzling. It looked like the same vanilla offense we've experienced the 8 years prior under Mike Schultz. We run the ball twice as much as we throw it...but the OCs decided to come out firing the ball and were never able to establish any kind of rhythm. Then the fake punt...how can you not be prepared for POWMSU to pull some kind of shit like that? That's their MO. You have more than a month to prep for that and they made us look like damn fools. Bittersweet ending to a great season. 12-1...I can't complain all that much.

Make sure you double bag it.
Oh...forgot to mention the homeless-looking guy at the airport wearing the POWMS shirt. He got away before I could get my phone out.

I don't think he realizes the stereotype he has become the personification of.

The TCU fans had the "I don't really know what's going on because I don't really follow football, but are we behind? because I thought we'd kill these guys" look on their faces.

You're digging the hole deeper, brotha.
TCU fans clinging to the, "at least our fan base is better than there's, at least that's what mommy and daddy told me" philosophy.
Hey, fine by me. My kids will go to Boise before I send them to TCU.

well, not mine. That is too far, but I get your point.
Congrats on the Bowl Pick Em win, by the way. Very nice.

My kids will go to Boise before I send them to TCU. You are a moron. Look up their academic reputation...they are essentially a 4 year JUCO. Most consider it the third best school in the state. I saw a poll a while back where 65% of the student body said that they would not return to the school if they had other options. BTW, it's theirs not there's...maybe your kid will fit right in at POWMSU. BTW, unless UofPh Stadium holds 80000 it was not 3/1 in attendance. Orange shows up way more than purple does and orange was one of the main colors of the bowl. Most estimates are about 22500/35k.

I'm not an English major and don't claim to be so suck it.
TCU is full of pricks and homos. You sound like you have joined the clan at full speed.
I said it looked like it was 3 to 1 Boise fans. Where do these estimates come from anyway? Maybe most TCU fans got stuck in Denver too and never made it to the game.
BTW, why did you fly through Denver anyway?

It was easily 3 to 1, I don't know how you go about making your estimates up, but look at the game. Oh and Stubbs, if you haven't checked...all it takes to get into TCU is deep pockets and a pulse.
Get off of your high horse.

From people who were there. A few POWM fans have stated they didn't think there were quite 35 (maybe 32.5). Others have put it around 35. TCU had anywhere from 20-22.5. They sold about 19500 tickets and many others bought tickets through Stub Hub, Craigslist, etc.
United doesn't have a direct flight to Phoenix. Would have been a 30 minute turnaround...same plane, same gate, but they had some mechanical issues which eventually grounded the plane. The pilot landed hard as hell and then hauled ass through the ramp to get to the gate. When I worked for UPS I saw pilots tear up the nose gear quite often from going too fast...that might have been what caused the problem.
