On another note, they really need to put field turf down. The grass at that place is awful. Our practice field has better sod than that craphole.
If they did put turf down,they could get some quality high school playoff games there to supplement their poor attendance for college games.

It has to be the worst field in college football. On television it looks like they are playing on dirt.

Tech did not buy all the tickets in '06. Estimates are from 8-12k. Red just shows up more than purple.
The field does look bad but it's nowhere near as bad as BYU's. BYU put down new sod in the offseason that didn't take. There are divots everywhere.
Ours just looks like a dirt patch. It didn't look that at the beginning of the season but once all the rain came it got ruined. From what I hear, the groundskeepers didn't really know what to do with all the rain and have taken responsibility. You'd think we'd be big time enough to hire a landscape engineer with a clue. Maybe Brett should get his resume together.

They need to go with Field turf. They can't handle grass.
That tceh game was at least 30-50% red.

Those uniforms are terrible. Whoever designed that helmet needs to lose their job.
They will not look sweet. They'll look like an arena league team or something worse.
