And I'm already sick and tired of hearing about the damn World Cup. Can't wait for summer next year.

I actually enjoy the world cup. Wouldn't if it was every year probably, but I think its pretty cool. Kinda lose intrest once USA is out so it usually doesn't last long.

You are a good patriot for cheering on your fellow Americans.
However, you lose points for watching soccer so you are back at square one.

when my sister and brother in law lived with me, they forced me to watch it. i usually had to get up and walk out. i guess i see too many "americans of latin descent" running around houston everyday to actually appreciate it.

I tried to give it a chance. When I was 4.
All I liked about it was the juice boxes and orange slices we got after the game.
actually, I never played. I have tried watching it on a few occasions and its just too boring.

Just give the World Cup a chance. I have. It's by far the most overrated event in sports.

I didn't say give soccer a chance fisch. Give the world cup a chance. I doubt you like swimming, gymnastics, diving or many other olympic sports but I recall us spending many hours in the summer of 2004 dedicated to events like those. When in realit, we would have rather been watching some spare at Bourban Street B&G if these events were just by themselves. It makes it great when the world is against each other and you can wear your stars and stripes button-down.

Houston Dynamo are pretty good from what my sister and brother in law tell me.
i see your point framp. you're a good American. i still cant bring myself to sit down and watch it. i'm too busy waiting on the edge of my seat for some mexican announcer to scream GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL out of nowhere. too much intensity.
