I am beginning to think there is a severe disconnect between OC and Head Coach. Wade may feel like he can't tell Garrett what to do. If that is the case, Wade or Jerry need to get that shit in check, pronto.

Feels like the Cowboys lost yesterday. What a shitty team and coaching. We play down to our competition. Penalties, no discipline. I hope we go 6-10 this year. Fire Wade now. Let Garret drive this bus to the ground the rest of the season. Bring Cowher in to instill some freaking hard nosed, take no prisoner, winning attitude into this thing.

I am totally convinced that the coaching is the major problem. The offensive play calls seem so simple and easy for the defense to read. It seems like its always a play action or screen that ends up only having one target that is to be thrown to. I feel that if there was more plays where romo could have more options and make his own plays we would be better off. On top of that the discipline is lacking in a high level. Goodness. As the game got further along it did look like they were coming together as a team more, no thanks to wade though.
The seagull bobby carpenter was out again trying to pump up the crowd during an AWAY game. He did make a couple tackles but he basically was in the way and made them by default. He is so spare.

Yeah, Mike pointed that out yesterday. What a moron.
Romo lucked into a decent game. I'm still not on board with him, but the coaching doesn't help him at all.
What about kneeling it with enough time for two plays and two timeouts on your side. Settling for overtime? What a freaking joke!

Bring Cowher in to instill some freaking hard nosed, take no prisoner, winning attitude into this thing. Hahahahaha! That's funny! Jerry will never be able to land another Parcells type (i.e. Cower, Shanahan, or Holmgren) until he gives up 100% personnel control. Until then, the Cowboys will just continue to be a mediocre to slightly above mediocre with Wade Phillips types as HC. I will give Carpenter some mad props for the post-game celebration. He was a big player in that dogpile.

His name was Bill Parcells. I don't get how you can think he won't do it again?

BT was the first real coach since Jimmy left. We all saw how that ended up. Why do you think it took 4 tries to land a big coach.
Remember when Gailey was hired? Do you think he was the leading candidate? He interviewed Sherm Lewis, George Seifert, and Terry Donohue. Do you believe Jerry for one second that he just "blew him away" in his interview? The other three saw what Jerry's narcissistic hunger for power called him on it. Chan was a yes-man and did exactly what Jerry wanted.
Parcells was lured out of retirement by $$ and the guise that he'd be calling the shots. We saw how that ended. Lots of talent. No playoff wins. Tuna worn thin by Jerry.
What would convince Cower, Shanahan, or Holmgren that Jerry would be any different with them?
Jerry is nothing but Al Davis with semi-lucidness.

Remind me again of where those BIG 3 (Sherm Lewis, George Seifert, and Terry Donohue) are coaching at now? Guess every NFL team that has had an opening since 1998 has been beating down those doors?? NOT! Wait, Seifert had a failed bit in Carolina, Sherm and Donohue have NEVER BEEN NFL head coaches.
Jerry will money whip whoever he wants of (Cowher, Shanahan, Holmgren, or Gruden) and they will return your Dallas Cowboys to their rightful place in the NFL:
WORLD CHAMPIONS,BRUTTHHHHAAAAA!!!

I am saying Seifert, Donohue, and Lewis must not have been great choices because no one else has seen fit to give them HC jobs. *(except seifert, who parlayed his success with Walsh's 49 er's into a failed effort in Carolina)
As for the right choice in 1998? I'll have to get back to you on that.
