All those complaints are the game of football. That is what makes the game, the game.

The worst move Jerry has made this year was listening to all the slaps and getting rid of the TO. Jerry needs to run the team hisowndamnself, the hell with the medjia. Do your knees ever get sore?

I've never heard anyone complain more about a win. Why do you think you have to try to prove it wasn't as close as it seems? And the officiating complaints...c'mon. It was close for about 18 minutes. Bad officiating is part of the game but this just about took the cake. One of the fumbles was on one of the most blatant helmet-to-helmet hits I've ever seen. The kid led with the top of his helmet. This same kid missed a game earlier this year b/c he did the same shit and nearly broke his own neck. Then 5 minutes later an SMU drive stays alive when Hughes was called for "continuous heltmet contact." I have never, ever heard of such a thing and the replay just showed to players getting after one another. update...the SMU kid is out for the season. Good...maybe he can work on his tackling. collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2009/10/notes-from-smus-monday-morning-practice.htmlHere's video of the play: vimeo.com/6894647Here's the "continuous helmet contact" play: vimeo.com/6895202Hughes is the left tackle. You tell me where the infraction occurs. For good measure, here's the punt return and Brock without a helmet flattening an SMU player. vimeo.com/6895028

BTW, I think the HTH rule is a joke. If it's not going to be consistent then get rid of the rule. I don't think it's a deterant at all because players know they can get away with it most of the time. I'm not blindly saying this either...a TCU defender got away with it in the Texas State game but Patterson chewed the kids ass out on the sideline.

I said Jerry was wrong in listening to the media slaps in getting rid of TO. That contradicts what you guys are saying.

Broncos dominated Granbury: +
Ags DOMINATED and Embarrassed by KSU, who sucks: - -
tu wins: -
tceh dominates nebraska: -
all of us sucking in the Pick em: eh, no change so who cares?
Overall I give it a C, with our win counting more than double all the other games, which brings the grade up.

Ill give it a B just because I watched football from 11 to sleep on Sat and noon to sleep on Sun. The Ags dropped it down of course but there were som great games on all weekend. I tried to watch the Aggie game but it didn't last long ofr many reasons: it was over real quick, it was on an awful channel with no HD (looked more like an early 90s game quality wise), the announcers sucked, and there were much more picture quality entertaining games on. It also helped the weekend in that my two fantasy QBs combined for 8 TDs (Brees and Schaub). Also, A+ for the NFC East losing.

A+
Frogs start out slow but have 44 unswered points. No one got hurt. Stupid penalties were limited. Turnovers were kept to a minimum. The ball was spread around and a lot of youngsters got some good playing time. BYU this week. Gameday will be there. Time to shine in the national spotlight. They finally played like they're capable of and I think they'll be ready for the Arians.
Cowboys don't win. Phins don't lose.

Didn't really get to watch much at all. I should win my fantasy matchup with Rivers and Jackson going tonight and only down by 10. Won the college pickem in an awful week by everyone.

Oh, Jeremy Kerley had the #1 play on Sportscenter with his effortless punt return...second in 3 weeks. Why we wasted his redshirt on a handful of plays I'll never understand!

I heard it was bad. The OU/Tex game had some suspect calls as well. Is it just me or is officiating getting worse every year. Boise won't lose a game all year b/c the WAC has threatened the officials and their families.

Sully,
there are no weekly winners in the pick em, just one winner in the end. True, you had the least crappy day of all of us, but that doesn't mean a thing.
