Romo's problem is that he never had to deal with pressure until two years ago; and it wasn't that bad until now. He's never been conditioned to handle this type of pressure. I'm serious when I say he needs to see a sports psychologist. I used to think it was all a joke until I started reading some books on the subject. It completely changed my opinion on the matter.

For fun. Kelly thought I was off my rocker too. I ended up getting several books on psychology. One is on mental toughness and even though it's mainly about sports you can still apply it to real life.

The Pick em has turned into a 3 man race for the time being.
There are still 7 or so weeks left in it, though, so that can sure change.

So does everyone still think Finch and I are wrong for thinking Jerry is a terrible GM?

The worst move Jerry has made this year was listening to all the slaps and getting rid of the TO. Jerry needs to run the team hisowndamnself, the hell with the medjia.

A for me.
Canes get a good win over a top 10 team. Finished the tough portion of their schedule going 3-1 against ranked opponents. Still a young team with a lot of growing up to do but well on their way to becoming title contenders in '10 and '11.
Kittie High loses and everyone finally shuts up about them.
Phins win big. Who knew they could score with Chad Henne under center? I certainly didn't...but then again, look who they played.
Cowboys lose and all their fans step out on to the ledge.
Frogs get a lackluster 25-point win over SMU. This is the only thing that kept my weekend from being an A+. First, it rained like hell. I'm sick of sitting in the rain. It wasn't as bad as in Clemson but it was definately a more sloppily played game. Second, it should have been 77-0. Two fumbles in the redzone and an INT at SMU's 30 on 3 of the first 5 possessions put us in a bad spot to start the game. That coupled with some of the worst officiating I have ever seen made it closer than it should have been. Yet another reason why we were happy to leave CUSA. Continuous helmet contact??? WTF? Are we just inventing infractions now? That bogus penalty kept a drive alive and two plays later the Ponies scored one of their gifts.
But at least they're 9 and 10 in the Coaches' and AP respectively...even though Herbie and Fowler decided to put Iowa ahead of us this week. Apparently their near victory against Arky State was more impressive to them than it was to me...
I haven't looked at the Pick 'Em standings but I know I took it on the chin.

If you take away some iffy calls and 6 fdropped passes the Ags would have won 89 to 6.

Oh...and Tanner Brock made one of the most incredible special teams plays I've ever seen. He loses his helmet at the line of scrimmage then flattens a guy down the field to set up a punt return for a TD. I'll try to find the video.

I've never heard anyone complain more about a win. Why do you think you have to try to prove it wasn't as close as it seems? And the officiating complaints...c'mon.
