who has TCU beaten?
They beat a TERRIBLE Virginia team with a coach that will be fired soon, and a below average Clemson team.
OSU and tech both would hammer Virginia and Clemson.
You can have your stats. I am talking about watching both teams play. TCU cannot score like Houston can. I think TCU's defense is very good. But UofH would get theirs. Texas State torched TCU, if you will recall. On the other side of that, I think TCU is still pretty vanilla and average on offense.
I don't think you are way off for picking the frogs, but I will take the Coogs. If you judge both teams by this year's wins and UofH looks a lot more impressive than the Frogs.

Give me UofH.
The Virginia and Texas State games were not that impressive for the froggies. Clemson...meh.
OK State and Tech wins are huge.

The Tech win is NOT huge. A one-point win at home against a 6-6 team will not look impressive in December.

You say 6-6 like its a foregone conclusion. They will win 7-9.
Also, Clemson will only win 5-7 and virginia will win 3-5. What is more impressive?
TCU will have to count on BYU and Utah teams that have already been blown out by middle (FSU) and middle upper (oregon) BCS teams.
It might work. TCU might get in. But their body of work isn't as good as Houston's.

Got to agree.
2 wins vs Big 12 trumps 2 wins vs ACC anyday.

Good SEC matchup this week is Auburn/Tennessee.
Malzahn vs. Monte Kiffen should be interesting.

Then you got USC/Cal.

If TCU had beat the #5 team in the nation on the road Stubbs would still be talking about it. There would be no talk about how OSU is/was overrated.

Tech will lose to UT, OU, and OSU; AND there's a damn good chance that they could lose at least three more games again Kansas, Baylor, Nebraska, and A&M. It's not going to be an impressive win by the end of the year.
On the surface the Clemson game doesn't look that impressive but that rain was freakin' ridiculous and I don't think Kittie High would have held up under those conditions. The fact that neither team had no turnovers is quite impressive. On a dry field TCU wins by 2 TDs and by even more at home.
BTW, TCU was supposed to play Ohio State in the first game of the year but they backed out to play Navy.

you can play the if game all you want, Stubbs. That doesn't prove anything.
Look, I can do the same thing: If the Ags hadn't have had those 4 turnovers and they would have just tackled that guy a few more times, they would have beaten Arkansas.

What do you call the OSU win Stubbs?
Forget the Tech win. They beat OSU too.
