Why shouldn't he be allowed to play in the NFL? He did his time. People that have done alot worse than run a dog fighting operation are in the NFL.

Nice troll, but I'll bite.
He paid his time to the feds, not his employer. It's a private business, they can do whatever the hell they want.

I don't care one way or the other, even if he is allowed to play I doubt he will ever see the field. It's Goodell's call and he is going to do what's best for the league.

If it was Kevin Murray or Reggie McNeil, you would care.

Not really, Reggie McNeil is almost as big a waste of talent as Michael Vick. I have no compassion for stupid people.

I tend to agree with Cowtown. We have freaking Dante' Stallworth who killed a person serve 19 days. Mike Vick served over a year for fighting dogs (which he is far from alone in). I am no Vick lover, but if someone offers him a spot, he should be allowed to play. He already paid a just amount for his crime.

I agree. He has served more than anyone else in that league has and lots of them have done stuff that may have harmed people. Of course what he did was terrible but like y'all said he said, he served his time.
This is a different subject but its groups like PETA that cause stuff like this to happen. those people will be protesting and picketing outside the stadium but don't give a rats ass about a human beings life. Very different subject actually. Those people just wear me out to no end. Carry on. Eat animals.

I agree that it is sad that Vick spent more time in jail for killing some dogs, but Goodell doesn't make that call. I'll bet that Stallworth never sees the field again. Again, he paid his time to the feds, not his employer. Since when is it anyone's right to play in the NFL? He can get a job doing something else if he wants to get back on his feet, it doesn't have to be football.

Leonard Little killed someone and still played for the Rams. I don't see how they can justify not letting him play.

That was Paul Tagliabue (sp?) not Goodell so that has no berring on this situation. But I agree that he shouldn't be playing.

Why do you think he shouldn't be allowed to play?

I never said one way or the other. I don't care what Goodell decides, it won't affect my fanhood either way. If he thinks Vick can still make the NFL/Team money, then let him back in. If he doesn't, then tell him to go get fucked. Either way I will still be watching the games on Sunday.
