TCU used to have a badass track and field program. I hear it's pretty pathetic now. That was just a few years ago. I guess the Ags pay the Jamaicans more these days.

One way Miami used to load up on talent was to give track scholarships. Alabama and LSU would give swimming scholarships to 6-5 275 lb backstroke specialists that would walk on for football. |
