The Detroit Lions traded quarterback Jon Kitna to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday for cornerback Anthony Henry. sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3942507Two questions Does this hurt the already thin Cowboys secondary? Is Kitna just there in case Romo gets hurt or could he take the starting job if Romo has a rough start? To be honest it seems like a decent move.

I think they grabbed Kitna because throughout all that adversity of last season, he remained the leader of his team. He kept his guys believing that one game might just be a winner. False motivation is better than none at all, in my book.

I think it was a great move.
CB's are easier to find than QB's.
I bet they have a back up plan for DB's. They are also shopping RW(ou version).

Romo needs a little motivation to play well. At his best he'll never be a championship caliber QB. I just don't see a thoroughbred in him, at all.

Good move. Kitna will push Romo but never challenge for the starting job. We can find another backup DB. Backup DB for Backup QB, straight up? No question. Scandrick or Jenkins will come along this year.

i have a feeling henry was maybe gonna lose his job anyways to scandrick or jenkins (prolly the first one). this also takes away the chance of just picking up an old like brad johnson that cant do spit. kitna, although not great, has alway put up consistant numbers and is thought of as agood leader. i think henry wasa just getting too slow to play cb, especially with the lack of speed and coverage our safeties have show in the recent years. i think everyone that didnt think so before now understands the value of having a qb that can come in and play good enough to have you in the game.

Saw that on ESPN while at the gym for lunch. He says he's giving them a deadline of today. What does he have to say about it? Dumb ass!

No kidding. I say trade him. They will probably get a pretty good value for him and he can go get burned deep a few times a game somewhere else. I've never been on his bandwagon.

I'm not sure he has much value now. Maybe a 4th or 5th rounder.
