Thoughts? I know the stuff is economically efficient and feels pretty cool but there's just something about football and grass. It's as American as apple pie and unabashed government spending.

even weirder is that their baseball field is now field turf...even around the bases and homeplate...no dirt except the mound.

I got no problem with the field turf. I used to be a grass elitist, but field turf looks good on tv and is not hard on the players. Time marches on.

The above post only involves turf on a football field. Baseball should only be played on a surface that a cow can eat.

all of their fields have always sucked really bad. they have real nice stadiums, and real crappy fields.
The problem at DKR was drainage, the disch was astro turf.

I can't believe that they don't have any Longhorns that can grow grass. Finch, I'll bring some of my summer harvest to Float Trip.
