Matt was a caretaker QB last year. Everyone knows that was Smash Williams' team. Matt is all heart; but J.D. has the best arm Coach has ever seen.
What about Riggans and his dumbass brother? Do they get busted for that copper wire heist? That could put a dent in Dylan's playoff hopes.

Well...the Panthers lost in the state championship game on a last second field goal. Matt had to come in and relieve the shaken JD McCoy and brought Dillon back from a considerable halftime deficit. Epic.
Coach Taylor now moves on to cross town, cash-poor East Dillon High, (thanks to Joe McCoy (JD's dad))and will try to revive the shuttered schools program.
