An ex once was moving and she couldn't take her cat. She wanted to know if I wanted it. I said sure. Four days later it was no where to be found. A week later I ran over a cat skull with a tractor. The coyote cleaned that thing to the bone. I was a little pissed so I checked out a book on how to track them. The book changed my mind and I let it go. Is a coyote hard to track?

You don't have to track them. Take a newborn crying baby out to the woods...gets em everytime.

Shouldn't be that hard. They are messy bastards and crap all over the place.

It's easier just to bait them.

I don't know. Last time we went hunting, there were two hog carcasses and two sets of deer guts that just sat there for 3 nights. Never touched. I've never seen that happen. Usually they are on it within hours. If not, the hogs eat em up. Not sure what the deal was that time.

Were you close to them? They are terrified of humans. Plus, they only eat when hungry. Maybe they were already full.

Maybe. We were about a mile from them.

If you take a wounded animal call of any type, it'll ring em' up.
