A friend called me this morning to say that they bar his brother runs in El Paso is undergoing some big renovations in the next couple weeks and is getting some big names to come in. They got Jack to play some time in April and he said he'll fly me out there for the show. Have the Pesos ever played El Paso and would they ever like to? He said he could probably get his brother to get them to play there, maybe on a wester swing or something. I told him about their tour out west in a few weeks and said it would be perfect but the only days I see that it could happen would be a Sunday...but then again, that might be around spring break time. It probably won't pay much but it will be some exposure...But it may also involve some back-tracking which would cancel out anything they made on gas.

We have played in El Paso, it was a long time ago though. We would like to do it again. We get to west texas pretty often, and could easily work it in if it seemed like a good thing. I don't think it would make sense for this month's tour though.
