Did you know that the bald eagle is no longer on the endangered list? It is now considered a protected species. I think that's really cool.

I see them all the time at Lake Texoma in the Winter.
When will we be able to shoot one? I would love to have one stuffed, perched on my living room t.v.

Funny Coach...
I've seen a few in the marshes around here. Hell, there was even a nest in Orange County that caused a wreck a few years ago because people were looking at the birds instead of the highway.. I'm happy for the Eagle.

I remember driving up to Taos one time that we saw some in perched in the trees. We got out to look at them and about 5 more flew up. I always throught of them as solitary animals but it was pretty cool to see a several in such a small area. Some of them dudes were huge.
