Dang, I guess if I were 382 pounds it would probably take me a little while to get going.

I really don't know if I believe it. It might hurt him a little but I bet a team is willing to draft him based on size alone thinking they can coach him a little and have him maybe shed a couple pounds.
I know mobility is huge for an OL but how mobile do you have to be when your that big, just stand there and make them run around you......that should take a while in itself.

Before this week, Herman was told that he could go anywhere from early 1st to early 3rd round. After reading this, I am thinking he is going to be more late 2nd to late 3rd.
Either way, he will get paid a lot of money.

Yes, regardless he will get a lot of money to play football but every round does cost him quite a bit.........right? I know the top 5-10 guys overall get ridiculous money but is there that big a difference between say late 2nd and early 4th?

You can't coach speed.

There is a huge difference between 1st day and 2nd day, and the amount does go down with every round.
I don't think the difference between late 2 and early 3 is as much as late 3 and early 4

True but you can coach him technique to make up for some of it....right?

I'm not a coach so I don't know for sure, but I would say in high school and college yes, but in the pros no. In the pros you have to have it all. If he is just a half step behind his qb will get killed on a regular basis.
