Since I'm not allowed to post on the official "hunting" thread without a picture, I will post this hunting question under the sports thread. Hunting is a sport isn't it? Anyway, I was listening to an outdoors talk show the other day on my way home from work & I heard something that surprised me. They said that people shouldn't really hunt rabbit until after the first hard frost because their is a parasite that lives in a rabbit and it is believed that the worm doesn't leave the rabbit's body until after that first hard frost. I was astounded and disgusted all at the same time.

Hunting is a sport. I'd say you are ok for posting it here. However, I wouldn't worry about an admin policing this board. It's been a free for all for quite some time.
I wouldn't eat a rabbit anyway. Beaver yes, rabbit no.

I will not eat rabbit. That just sounds gross. This is coming from someone who's sainted mother makes the best squirrel and dumplins in Jefferson County, Arkansas.
At least that is what I am told; I don't eat that either.

Not this Arkansan. The only wild game I will eat is venison. You can have my share of squirrel, coon, possum, rabbit, boar, etc...
