That's right Peso fans. Time to step up to the plate for the Peso of the Common Pan. Winterfest is in Beaumont tomorrow. I've never heard the Pesos without an Accordion and I would imagine it just ain't the same. Kind of like kissing your sister... Brother it might feel good, but damn it, it's just WRONG...There will be people flocking in from dozens of cities tomorrow to see the Pesos and many other bands and musicians. We are trying like crazy to find Danny an accordion for tomorrow. Rodney says "it's just too much to ask of you all." Bullshit, I say. There is no limit to the depth of our hearts and our giving spirit as fans and friends. The RFT Rowdies are involved in this also. We help wherever we can. You all are family to us. The man needs an accordion. So I'm asking if any of you have a friend of a friend or personally know someone somewhere we could talk turkey with and put this issue to sleep.
Please advise....
Be on the lookout for a Manual Right Hand 48 Key Squeezebox.

He really hasn't been playing it that much anyway. It's barely even used on the new songs. There's a full lineup, right? If so, they might not have that long of a set and it might have not even been used at all. That being said, I love Danny's guitar work on Ghost.

If this forces Danny to go more banjo, guitar, and harmonica then it doesn't hurt the performance at all.
Danny--more banjo!

So no responses on the Kissing your sister joke... Man I usually kill with that one.... Somethings wrong with me today.. I'll try harder to insert better jokes into my post.. I'll just go and sit in the corner and think long and hard about my mistake. Can ya'll find it in your hearts to forgive?

Tis a noble gesture to try to find an accordian for young balls, but most musicians I know prefer to choose their own instruments. Musicians are quite particular about their instruments. Just sayin...

The intent of this was not to fully replace with a new instrument. All the rowdies that heard wanted to do something to try and help out, be it donate money to help make a dent in the cost of one or something along those lines. But should we find one, I have talked to Danny as to what he wants and needs on the instrument. We're really not trying to step on toes or anything. We just want to help someone that we consider family.

Speaking for myself, I don't feel like my toes are being stepped on. Good luck in this worthwhile venture.

Not really quite sure where the "toe stepping" came in, but I'll repeat...tis a noble gesture.
