Making a bowl is better than not making one, but it hardly equates with winning a playoff game in the NFL.

Super Bowls teams are made up of 4th rounders and beyond. The Giants have 15 players who were drafted in the 4th and beyond and another 15 who were undrafted althogether. uhhh...ok. Cowboys have beaten the Giants 3 out of the last 5 times they have played. Gotta love those moral victories, we Ags are good at those. |

Winning a BCS Bowl game would equate with winning a playoff game. Not quite, only 5 teams out of 120 can win a BCS bowl game. That's a percentage of 4.2. At worst only 4 teams out of 32 can win a playoff game. That's a percentage of 12.5. With the draft and free agency it is much easier to win a playoff game in the NFL than it is to win a BCS bowl in college football. |

If you stretch it, I guess you could say all 120 teams are eligible for a BCS Bowl. You and I both know that this is not reality.
