Sounds right. No bid deal, and worth the gamble.

Yeah a 4th rounder for nothing, no big deal. Who needs depth when your starters can't even get you in the playoffs.

How many misses does Jerry have to have before you do have a problem with it?

I am a Cowboy fan. As long as I think Jerry is doing his best to win football games I have no problem. I believe Jerry would spend his last dollar to win a Super Bowl.
I would have issues with Jerry if he were more concerned with making money than winning football games.

Super Bowls teams are made up of 4th rounders and beyond. The Giants have 15 players who were drafted in the 4th and beyond and another 15 who were undrafted althogether.

The Cowboys haven't won a playoff game in over 10 years.

neither have Jimmy Johnson, Vince Lombardi, or Tom Landry.
TCU hasn't BEEN to a bowl game of any significance in over 60 years. Why would you support them?

If bowl games are playoff games, TCU has won their last 4. I stick with them through and through but I'm not going to be blind to any deficiencies they may possess. Actually it's about 50 years anyway...

Back to the Pacman deal.
Cowboys gave up a 4th, but since Pacman was released early they get Tennessee's 5th round pick PLUS $1million. PLUS Pacman's salary does not count against the salary cap. The cost of obtaining Pacman is/was negligible.

Bowl games are not playoff games. Half the teams in college football go to bowls. Not that great of an accomplishment, buddy.
