sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=290060008FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Texas coach Rick Barnes can think of one way to improve the Big 12.
Just add Arkansas.
"I said coming up here -- this school should be in the Big 12. That's where they should be," Barnes said after the game. "It would make our league better. It would be better for them. Why they're not, I can't answer that. But it would be great, because this is what it's about."

Why were there Aggie fans at the game?
I am sure, over the last 12 years, that Arkansas would have been more successful in all three major sports if they would have joined the big 12 (I guess instead of Baylor). They recruit this area, and could do a lot better if they played here. Plus, they are SEC outsiders. They don't belong there, and true SEC people still count them as outsiders.

Arkansas to the Big 12 South. Okie State to the north. Iowa St. out.

of course it would.
Arkansas is in Big 12 country and if they had known how things would shake down, would have probably joined the Big 12 initially. But they had no way of knowing.

I would prefer Arkansas to Big 12 North. Iowa State out. That equals an automatic trip to the Big 12 championship game every year for the Hogs.

If this happened, it would automatically make the Big 12 the toughest conference in America.
funny, how that works out?

Just wait until Mizzou joins the B11. TCU will then dominate the B12N. Arky will never go to the B12 unless they can be in the South.

So you're saying Arkansas makes the SEC better than the Big 12.

TCU wouldn't be in the north if they were added.
OSU would move north and TCU would be in the south.
A great idea, if you ask me.

OSU wouldn't be happy with that and they'd fight to stay in the South. TCU will just go wherever they're told.
