Henry Story was the drummer and then got a really good job so he had to quit the band.
Stubbs then met him and fell in love, and brings his name up a lot.

LOTS of shows with no drummer. Brooks played drums one show at the White Elephant and as I recall Rodney was ready to come off the bench and relieve him.
Fischer, you have it all wrong. I knew Henry before I had heard of the band.

Yeah, we'll all be in the acknowledgements when they write A Penis Wrinkle In Time-The History of the Pesos. It will cover the beginning, the records, the lean years, the success years, the member changes, the fall, the breakup, the reunion, the second reunion, the redemption, and the legacy.

Oh, I got it wrong. Let me fix it.
Henry Story was the drummer and then got a really good job so he had to quit the band.
Stubbs then met him met him before he quit the band and fell in love, and brings his name up a lot.
hope that clears things up.

I don't remember any stand-ins at drummer, but I do remember the greatness of Adrian and his taped up glasses. That guy was a badass and will always be held in utmost Peso respect.

He still is a maniac. Maybe we should have attended the oso closo show the other night, rather than hit the casino.

I'll give you my personal peso story.
Saw them for the first time back in 04 at the White Elephant Beer garden in the FW Stockyards. Had no idea who they were, my wife and I just wandered in and RP was playing "BrokeDown". Me, being new to the whole Texas country thing, thought it was an RP original and complimented Brooks on the song. Brooks told me what a dumbass I was and the rest is history.
On a side note, if you ever get the chance to hear RP to "Brokedown"; I highly recommend it.
