I think you went and bought the cd when I played it for you and you realized who I was talking about.
Remember, you bought Hayes Carll too? Or did they not have BTSO?

Was Cheyanne the one that I had the random late night drop in and say hello for an hour and drive back to DFW at 3 AM?

I already had Hayes Carll. We went to Hastings and put the BTSO CDs in front of Randy Rogers on the endcap. I thought I had the CD by then. Who knows...it was all a blur back then. I do remember buying BTSO at Bill's for $18.

A few thoughts:
- I don't know if that is the house you are referring to, Stubbs. Its not the house where you puked through the screen door. Did it have a garage? If so, that's the one because its the only one we lived in that had a garage.
- Cheyenne is a street that I lived on, Mike.
- I thought that was two separate occassions, Stubbs. I thought you bought BTSO and Hayes Carll early on, then came back another time and we moved all the cd's up to the front.
- Craig came along in the early fall of 2003, a pup just out of High School and looking for someone to guide him through his first year away from his dad and his oh so hot (I mean HOT) mother, Kendra. I was bored at my house one afternoon and my roomate (Lawnchair Farris) told me he was going to see this new pencil neck (he was at the time) guy from Denton who had a hot mom. I figured, what the hell? I like hot moms. So we went to their apartment and kind of told them we could show them around and help them get adjusted. Well, young Frampton mentioned that he liked "Texas" music. But the only artists he knew were Pat Green and Cross Canadian Ragweed. Granted, it was in the days when both of those sucked way less than they do now, but that is still pretty limited knowledge. I took it upon myself to take this young lad on as a project. I was in a very reflective time, as I was entering my Jr. year in college and had kind of been looking for someone to pass my immense knowledge on to. Anyways, Craig was a quick learn. He worked day and night to learn the lay of the land in College Station, where to go, how to get into certain places, how to enjoy an adult beverage in the correct manner. He soaked up all the new music I was letting him listen to like a sponge. Not that it was an easy task. There were many a late night spent playing ping pong, drinking beer, listening to music. I can't tell you how many nights we stayed out listening to live music. Studying, Studying the songs, lodging them in his mental CD Changer. But Craig never waivered. By the time BTSO actually came out, I had been pumping Rp50pR up to Craig, Bret, Finch, and Harv for quite some time. (I didn't know Scheu yet). By this time, Craig was a regular Texas Music pro. He latched on to the quality lyrics, the clean musical sounds, and the nice progression of the songs. He was an instant fan.

I thought Cheyanne was one Sully's conquests that bore one of his numerous bastard half-breed children that are littered thru out North Texas. Thank you for clearing that up, Coach.

EDIT: I thought Cheyanne was one Sully's conquests that may or may not have birthed one of his numerous bastard half-breed children that may or may not be littered thru out North Texas. Thank you for clearing that up, Coach

Yeah, that was the house. You guys were in the garage along with about 30 other people. I never even went inside. It was on the other side of 6, right?
Now that I think about it, I think I did buy HC at Hastings. I seem to remember not being able to find it up here. That might have been when we moved the CDs up front.
