you mean when you watch Alabama/Florida vs another deserving, big time school?
I guess you will be flipping back and forth from TCU vs. Louisville in the Poulan weedeater bowl?

maybe. But they don't deserve to at all.
A 3 loss sec or big 12 south team is far more deserving than tcu. They lost the one real game they had, and got blown out in that one.

If they win tonight that will be their second win against a top 10 team this year. The only chance a 3 loss team has is to win their conference. That's just the way it's set up. What is fair and who is more deserving was never entered into the BCS equation-see Miami in 2000. They should have been playing for the MNC instead of FSU.

TCU in the Big 12 or SEC is a five to six win team.

Thanks. I'm still sick to my stomach. I wish Utah had just whipped us all over the field instead of gifting it to them. It's a tough thing. Missed FGs, stupid penalties that took us out of FG range, wide-open dropped passes, and an OL that forgot how to block and took us out of FG range. They had 4 drives with an opportunity to score inside the 20 that came up empty. They had a chance to make it 17-0 in the first and it would have put the game away. They dominated the stat sheet. Nobody to blame but themselves. Merry Christmas Utah...Merry Christmas...

You have to give Utah credit. Their defense came up big when they needed it and on offense they threw the ball okay. They couldn't run it, though.
It was a good game.
I think if those two teams played 10 times, Utah would win about half of the time.

No, they couldn't run but they're OL did good handling the pass rush. TCU didn't blitz as much though and I don't remember seeing one stunt-which they don't do very much but it is effective when they do. The offensive playbook was very small last night compared to the last month. I know sometimes you have to take what the other team gives you but you can't tell me that Utah has better players. We should be able to out-execute them. Aaron Brown wasn't used nearly enough and towards the end of the game they were running him up the middle even though turning the corner is his strong suit. They usually run some screens too and I don't remember seeing any. They relied on the vertical passing game too much when the offense works best throwing for 6-8 yards at a time and eating up clock. Poor execution and being outcoached is recipe for a loss.
At least we can hang out head on the fact that our two losses were on the road against top 10 teams.
