It's just a talent roster for registered artists and musicians. I ran across it at work the other day. I had to look up a numer for a department in the governor's office and found a music department. I'm going to call Monday and ask to speak with the governor. I wonder what they'd say...

Pretty much every band in texas is in that thing. You send your info for the directory and you get a copy of it for free. If you browse the site you can see that the directory has a lot of listings that are useful to a band. I commend Governor Perry for this great site.

It has a list of events and workshops. I wonder if other states support the arts like this. I think it's cool how it has a link to the website.

It also have a directory of every venue, agent, manager, record label, insturment store, etc it texas.
