A snake? You watch too much ESPN Gametime (brought to you by Home Depot owned by Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blanks).

I think it's funny b/c it ruins TU's only bye week until the week before A&M. They have to play their first 11 games planning for a game that Saturday.

He just up and left his team in the middle of the season. If that isn't snake like, I don't know what is. There is no defending that.
Our coach stayed until the end of the season.

That being said, neither team is worth a crap.

There were two games left in the season. Hardly, the middle and hardly what anyone would describe as a normal season for the Falcons. College coaches leave teams before their seasons are over all the time (Rodriguez, Nutt to name a couple). It's a part of doing business these days

No, they leave before the bowl game. They are told to leave in most cases.
Petrino left in the NFL regular season, and he did so by writing a Dear John letter.
Mike Sherman didn't leave his old team high and dry. He stayed until it was done.

I believe Sherman worked both jobs until the Texans season petered out. He was at least recruiting for the Ags and filling staff positions. Is it more honorable to work part time for a team that is paying you a full paycheck or refuse to accept a paycheck at a job you no longer have any interest or future in?

He didn't work part time. He didn't miss a single meeting or film session with the texans.
He was only in College Station on his "off" time.
As for recruiting, he did none. It was tim Cassidy, Buddy Wyatt, and Van Malone.
I don't know how his character will translate on the field, but Mike Sherman is a character guy.
I am not against Arkansas or anything, I actually want them to do well.
I just think the guy is morally bankrupt.

I thought coaching was supposed to be a 24/7 occupation at the NFL level?

I think that is a figure of speech. They have to go home at some point.
For Petrino it was a 14 game job, though.

That's good. We only expect him to coach 12 or 13 a year.

12 or 13? That sounds about right. I doubt Arky will be making it to the SEC championship game again any time soon.
