Cowboys/SD preseason

Special teams for Cowboys need ALOT of work. Looked like they have never covered punts or returned kickoffs. Disgraceful.

2nd team defense-pitiful. Seems like these guys would put forth a little effort since they are trying to make the team. Didn't see much.

New guys:

Felix-just what I expected. He's the real deal.

Bennett-disappointing. needs to learn to catch the ball. coaches need to really ride his ass to make sure he gets it. Bennett needs to follow Whitten everywhere he goes and mirror him.

Pacman-not impressed. looked really rusty and I don't know if he can be counted on.


One other note: Bobby Carpenter-your act is not needed here. Just another overrated Big 10 player.

That doesn't surprise me about MB, he had a lot of trouble catching the ball his freshman year. He will get better though, that guy is a freak athlete.

Felix will be the starter by the end of the season. Pacman looked bad on that floater Rivers threw to Chambers over the middle. Seriously, I don't think that pass was more than 60 MPH. I know it's preseason and the scrubs were in most of the time Jacob Hester looked impressive. Looks like Sproles has his work cut out for him if he's going to be the 2nd back. He may just end up being a RT guy.
