Also, who is this Seth Garrison kid? He is the #3 starter and he shut us down tonight. Other than a few wild pitches he was just plain nasty.

Stubbs does not attend TCU babseball games. He is an armchair fan.

No, I went last night and it was a hell damn good game. Garrison's numbers were very average going into the game. Gives up more hits than innings pitched and walks a lot of guys. Hit's guys too...well, some of them are phantom HBP but whatever...He pitched really good last night. He was also helped out by a crazy-ass strike zone. At least he called it both ways. The last pitcher was throwing some major gas. Hit 97 several times. They got screwed on a call at first with two outs. Everyone saw he was out but el ciego thought otherwise and a run came around to score. We got a chicken shit make-up call the next inning but I'd rather him just get the call right. I could blame that on the loss but the fact is that the winning run scored on a damned pass ball in the top of the 9th with two outs and two strikes on the batter. Both teams played hard but the Frogs need to learn to close these kinds of games out.
One observation...A&M has a lot of big boys and is VERY slow. And the centerfielder must be a popular guy. I saw hundreds of people wearing his number.

Um...check that. The starting pitcher had the second-most starts on the team. The other two pitchers have pitched in 15 and 21 games respectively. Of the 9 in the batting order, 7 had at least 140 ABs. The other two had 96 and 86 coming into the game. Hardly scrubs.

There where bad calls all night. Ags got screwed on several calls as well. And when you hit .326 as a team with 53 home runs you don't have to have a lot of speed.
And I hope you are joking about your observation.

there were some key guys missing from the lineup.
Aggies have 63 stolen bases, not great, but not awful.
Also, the Aggies have 3 of the top 4 triple hitters in the Big 12 and 2 of the top 3 doubles.
But yeah, they can't run at all.
You should work for Sporting News. Your observations are completely baseless and total bullshit just like most of theirs are.

Hey fishcer, he watched one game on a Tuesday night at a visiting ballpark, he knows everything there is to know about the Ags now.

And I hope you are joking about your observation. This is true. That's why I was impressed Garrison was able to keep the ball down. I got scared with a few of those guys up there.

yeah. thanks for the call and the invite. I forgot. Your phone sucks. My buddy bought the tickets. In fact, I dropped my phone yesterday and it doesn't work. Thankfully he had enough sense to leave my ticket at Will Call and I had enough sense to check. Tickets were sold out. It was the highest attended game in TCU baseball history.

Key guys missing from the lineup? Their top 9 guys in AB played...unless they are playing with a rover, I don't think anyone is missing. Yes, they have some guys with decent speed but they also have some lumbering guys that will clog up the bases.

Hey fishcer, he watched one game on a Tuesday night at a visiting ballpark, he knows everything there is to know about the Ags now. It was just an observation from last night. One of the guys that was with us who graduated from A&M thought the same thing. He even said he expected more speed from the black feller.

Black feller, that's funny. You never said if you were joking about the jersey number.
