The only step up is conference.

Nutt vs. Singletary?
Hmmm...give me Singletary. Briles stays at Houston.

ESPN's Pat Forde also mentioned Patterson as a candidate for Michigan. I agree with Fischer, it would be a step up only in conference. I think Singletary is the only man that can possibly turn that program around. That place is a coaching graveyard and any coach that goes there is potentially commiting career suicide. I think Baylor is just throwing some names around to get Mike to accept less.

Could be. He's the one for the job. I think it would be a step down for most head coaches.
Also heard Gruden mentioned for Michigan.

I am hearing Larry Fedora from OSU to Baylor.
He is a good recruiter and is from College Station. They have a good offense at OSU.

I know it won't ever happen, but Gruden would be my number one choice for the Ags. That would be unbelievably awesome.

Schue gave me the scoop too. Heard they just picked up Steve McGee as a client.
