What are the odds that Boston will hold four titles at the same time? or even three if you throw BC out of the mix (which we will be able to do very soon)?
Just read an article about Boston sports. We'll be lucky if we ever have that kind of success around here.

That brings up an interesting question:
Which college football team in the Metroplex will win a national championship first?
I'll take North Texas State.

We'll be lucky if we ever have that kind of success around here. New England will not win the Super Bowl. Celtics won't win. Bruins? It's hockey...who cares? BC? You are right they will be eliminated this week. I'm Kige Ramsey.

The Bruins are absolutely pathetic. There is no way Boston will have 4 championships. Kige...don't be so quick to rule BC out. There were my preseason pick to win the ACC. I didn't think they'd be undefeated at this point but I knew they'd be pretty good.

They play VT tom night in Blacksburg which is one of the hardest places to play.....especially on a Thursday night.

This should be a great game. I don't think VT is as good as their ranking but like Craig said, Blacksburg is one of the hardest places to win.

I was talking about baseball, football, basketball, and college football. Red Sox are well on there way, as are the Patriots. That's two. On paper, the Celtics look the best...we'll see if they can put something together. BC loses this weekend.

I'm on board with NT State to bring the first NC in football to our fair burg. It's a long way off though.

There will not be a team from North Texas win an MNC. Ever. It will not happen.

Which is more likely to happen, a MNC or a NC from a playoff?

Def. NC from a playoff.
Then they just have to be one of the top 8 teams to make it in, and let the chips fall where they may.
If its an MNC, they have to be one of the top 2 teams.

In a crazy year like this, if they could have done what they did in '05, minus the SMU game, they may have a chance. But how often do these years come along? It would be better to be lucky than good. So far, their schedule isn't much different from Ohio State in SOS. OSU is finally getting into a tough part of the schedule. I think they'll lose at least two.
