I'm all for the bowls and the polls but this time of year drives me crazy each year! Tell me, how in the hell is LSU ranked ahead of Kentucky when they just beat them on the field? Both teams have one loss so how can you tell me that LSU should be ranked higher? In fact, how can LSU be higher than South Carolina who kicked Kentucky's ass all the way back to Lexington? Now, we all know that on paper, LSU is probably better than Kentucky but they don't play ifs ands or buts. They play 60 minutes of major college football and if that isn't enough, then the whole system needs to be done away with and just go to a boring-ass playoff system. This drove me nuts back in 2000 when FSU got to play OU in the championship game when Miami beat them on the damn field and they both had one loss. Coming from a person who is a fan of a non-BCS team, I have some opinions about the unfairness of the system but apparently the BCS is biased against their own schools. Some will say that those teams that don't get respect will probably lose down the road anyway but, once again, they don't play ifs and the polls aren't designed to be based on ifs. I feel bad for Kentucky and South Carolina because apparently winning isn't enough.
BTW, how the hell does FSU get 6 votes in the AP and 16 in the Coaches when they lost two games to average conference oppontents? Apparently those 26 coaches and media idiots were watching Gay's Anatomy Thursday night. All 26 should have their voting rights revoked.

Yea the poles are just a big mess to me and no one will ever be happy with them. I just take it as it is. It'll never be perfect.
Mark my prediction: South Florida vs Oklahoma for the National Championship USF pulls a Boise State and upsets OU again.

If LSU wins out; their strength of schedule will put them ahead of anybody else.

LSU will be there. Ohio St. loses to Penn St. or Michigan, if not both. BC loses somewhere along the line. USF gets beat this weekend.
Boston College/USF?
What a boring NC game that would be.

BC plays at Va. Tech the next weekend. If they get by that, they're home free. The only other potential loss is at home against Miami but that's just because Miami/BC games are unpredictable at times. On paper, BC should run up and down the field on them.
Looks like its shaping up to be USC/Kentucky vs. LSU in the SEC champ. game. That should be a game for the ages.
Ohio St. plays at Michigan and at Penn St. Bye-bye. Nice knowin' ya.

OU will definitely be in the mix, too.
They will win the thing, IMHO.

I think LSU will get beat again between now and the SEC Champ, the SEC is too good. Now I dont see OU loosing again seein as they've already got passed any real big threat, besides facing Mizzou again in the Champ.

Look out for OSU against OU. Stranger things have happened. I don't want to see USC anywhere near it. Maybe they should just take the SEC Title game and replay it for the NC.
