Denver and Carolina? In 2011? That could be a home game for the Cowboys.

Another success story brought about by the ownership of Jerry Jones. How do you like him now, Matt?

yeah did y'all read that article in the Dallas Morning News about him the other day? It was all about how he is one of the greatest owners in NFL history.

Y'ALL ARE A BUNCH OF RETARDS. I have NEVER, not once, questioned his role as an owner. What he does for the team off the field is remarkable. I question is on-field involvement with the team. Getting the Superbowl has nothing to do with his role as GM.

Matt...work with me here. Since you admit JJ is the greatest owner in professional sports...wouldn't it stand to reason that he would hire the greatest GM in all of sports?
Jerry Jones=Greatest Owner=Greatest GM
Congrats to Coach Fischer on his 3000th posts! Good work!

Ha, I didn't even notice that.
Stubbs, I never mentioned your name...just that there was an article on Jerry Jones.

No, no, no. Wrong, wrong, wrong. What he has done to market and turn his team into the most profitable franchise is outstanding. He was a trailblazer in the area of corporate sponsorships for individual teams in the NFL. The financial success of the NFL is due in large part to what he's done. BUT, if he were the greatest GM, wouldn't it stand to reason that they would have A playoff win in the last 10 years? The results just aren't there and it's painfully obvious he isn't the right man for the job. Am I saying that he needs to just sit back and hand out blank checks? Hell no. We've seen what's become of the Rangers and Stars with a laissez-faire owner. He should have a role in the decision-making process, but he shouldn't be calling the shots on his own. Well, he does have his sons and Rowdy, but they really don't count. He's calling the shots. He's making the football decisions. But, he's not a football man. He's a businessman and a damn good one at that. A real GM would have seen that the Triplets were on the down-side of their career and planned accordingly. A real GM wouldn't have to put all his eggs in the basket of an undrafted player who sat on the bench for 3 years, has played just a handful of games, and looked dreadful at times in the last month of the season. He may turn out to be decent but let's remember that Troy Aikman was inducted into the HOF last year. For five years, this team went without a consistent quarterback. Five years. You guys need to just stop living in the past and realize he's done absolutely nothing in the last 10 years as a GM. Nothing.

You just make the same tired old hindsight argument every time.
By the way, salary cap issues, fewer draft rounds, more league parity, and many other factors also contribute to the no playoff wins in 10 seasons. But I can already see how you would address that argument: "wrong. Jerry is bad. Quincy sucked."
You are the worst at conveniently leaving out facts that don't support your outlandish claims. Also, making general and erroneous statements like "it's painfully obvious he isn't the right man for the job." Once again, this coming from a loan man. I don't think anything having to do with the NFL is painfully obviously to you, no offense. You aren't a football man so you have zero ground to make that claim on someone who is FAR more connected to the game and league than you.
I am not saying that I know everything either. I am saying that you can't bad mouth a guy with 3 championships when you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
