I probably should have omitted the ? on the topic. I read it like Ron Burgundy.

It depends on the games.
Football, anywhere from 3-6K. Then if they don't sell out, they offer em up to the opposing team.
Basketball, I have no clue.

I was referring to football. TU is only offering 3500 with about 1000 going to the band, drill team, and students. So only about 2500 are going to the rest of us peons which means I'll probably have to get some from some shady broker. I can see giving that many to Rice, UNT, or some other spare team that TU usually has on their non-conference schedule, but I figured we'd get at least 5000.

No, that's the same situation with ANY big time program. By Big 12 rule you have to give at least 3,000. If they can sell all the other seats, that is all any team is going to get. When they played tu, A&M only got that many, Ohio State only got that many, Sam Houston only got that many.

That sucks. I don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg from someone else. I have a standing offer for a free ticket to the Miami/OU game the same day. I may end up taking that one.

Not to brag...wel kinda to brag...but I get two free tickets to ANY college game I want to go to. (we may not make much money, but there are some perks to being a coach)

Yeah, that's a pretty good deal. Can you get me tickets to the UNT/Idaho game? That should be a classic.

Its got nothing to do with wise...it has to do with being a coach. They give you the pass and the handshake when you sign up.

The game is September 8 so I only have to coach for a few weeks. That works out perfectly. I'll resign the following Monday.
