Had a great time fishing by myself this morning. This first one weighed 4 lbs. 1 oz. Caught it on a 6 in. watermelon seed lizzard, Carolina Rigged in about 6 ft. of water. water temp was 74.5.  This piggy weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz. Caught it on a 7 in. Watermelon seed worm, Texas Rigged in about 3 ft. of water. Water temp was 64.  |

They were short but their bellies were extremely fat. The pictures don't do them justice at all. (taking pictures by yourself is hard).

That second one did a number on your finger.
You need to move back up here and take me fishing b/c for all I know, all these riggings you speak of are just a PC way of not pissing off a black man.

I was not pissed, but I was a little bit triumphant...these dbags had just brought their boat about 20 feet in front of me (right where I was throwing) in between me and the bank. They had no clue what etiquette was. The dude looked at me and goes "been catching anything?" I said, "not right now, I can't really throw" He said he was having a tough time too (my comment went right over his head). As soon as he moved out of the way I caught the 4 lber. The dudes were just sitting there staring at me.
I was listening to Steve Earle at that point though.
the water temp is so much different because of where on the lake i was. Its a power plant lake so the closer you are to the discharge the warmer the water.

nope, it was a little too chilly for the crocs. I went with the Nike Air shox or whatever they are called.
