i understand two of our regular posters have been or will be going to Mexico for a fishing trip...where are the pictures???

I just caught one that was worthy of a photo...It wasn't the hog I was hoping for, but it was pretty decent. I will post it tomorrow.
We went to Del Rio, not Mexico...just for clarification ( I know the kinds of rumors that go around about people in Mexico)

Dang! I thought that lake was like catching fish out of a barrel...so to speak. I guess you should bring Mr. Finch with you next time. He always catches fish.

The trip was fun, but all I caught was a good drunk and a hell of a sunburn.
Other than that, it was a few 2-3 pounders.

Lake Amistad is the best lake I've ever been to, though. You guys should all go see this place.

Okay...catfish wise, Finch is better.
Bass wise, I got him.
We learned a lot, caught a few fish, had a great time.
Stubbs, I think you vastly overestimate that whole situation.
Smite just the same.

There was an article about the lake in Texas Monthly a few weeks ago. It certainly made me want to take a trip. Did you see any upset landowners firing off their guns at squaters and illegals?
