To all people involved in the street team activities, You are all rocking the Tune Widget Mission. However, I wanted to point out something that may be passing under the radar...

The "Help Us Collect Fans" mission ends on Friday. The incentive is a free t shirt, and we are about to have som nice new ones. Stubbs is currently the only person working this mission, and he is about to win it, even though he has collected only 1 fan, and that fan was Kelly. Someone could easily take this out from under Stubbs. Although this is an online mission, you would probably have better luck getting people to sign up for this by speaking to the about it and then sending them the widget. Talk to your friends that are in the band and get them to join the street team. If you have friends who live in cities that we are touring to in the coming months, and who are into the band, ask them to help spread the word by joining the street team, and then send them the widget.

Also.. Nobody except for Stubbs is working the mission for this Saturday's show at the Cavern. 1000 impressions = two guest list spots. If you are planning on going to the Cavern show anyway, might as well do this.

I posted that street team thing several times but Kelly was the only person to register...I'll try to get more people signed up.

I've been spreading the word here at work and I have several people interested that would normally not take a second look at this kind of music. I have at least 5 maybes for the Granada show. I'll try to get them to sign up for the mailing list.

That's the way to work this particular one. If you post that widget in people's comments and stuff, they probably won't even really know what it is. Just when you are talking to people who dig the band say, "Hey would you want to join the street team? I am on it and it is fun and I get in free to the shows." Then when they say "Hell yes, who wouldn't want to be on the street team for the sweetest band in the world?" you say, "Cool, I will send you a myspace message with a little thing you can fill out to get started". You can have this same converstaion, but substitute the words "Email List" for "Street Team", if you are talking to someone who doesn't like to get involved in things.

Hey, there's a guy that wants me to make sure you add him to his friends list. His profile name is Jonathan Richards for President 2008 so add that request if you haven't already. I don't know him but he found the tunes through Mike Huckabee's page and really digs it. I'll try to get him to sign up on the mailing list.
