Hi guys, In the coming months there is a lot happening with RP50PR - NEW CD COMING OUT - plus tons of touring. To support this stuff, and to be more efficient at getting the right information to the right people, I am moving our email list to www.reverbnation.com . This is going to allow me to target email announcements down to the recipients' zip code. It is also going to allow people to opt in to a new improved street team, so that you can get special emails with special tools to help us promote our tours and upcoming record release. Even if you think you are already on our email list, take a minute to visit this link and give me your email and location again... www.reverbnation.com/rodneyparker50pesoreward?add_email=trueAlso, those of you who are getting the mobile alerts, when you reply to those alerts, your reply is posted automatically at www.broadtexter.com/pesos . You can even reply with photos and those will go up. So if you are taking photos at shows with your phone, text 'em, and then tomorrow everyone can look at everyone else's pictures. Thanks guys. You are the coolest people in the world.

I just signed up for the street team. I hope I have enough street cred to qualify.

This is not a big brother type thing. It won't put spyware on your computer. It won't send you junk mail. This is just a way better way for me to organize information and distribute it. There are no street cred requirements for the street team. However, the street team assignments for the most part are going to be electronic (posting things on myspace, blogs, message boards, etc). This thing has a great console for tracking people's street team results, so once we get enough members, I will start running contests and giving prizes to street team members who can get the most results from the tools given. It is going to be really cool. Also, whether you want to sign up or not, there are a number of resources on that page under "widgets" that you can put on your myspace pages or blogs or whatever. Different things that play RP50PR songs, or show our tour dates, or encourage people to check us out. I think you can use those codes without joining the street team, and they are customizable to match your myspace page.

I don't know, man. That whole African bank account thing didn't work out so well for me. I'm a little leary of the internets and the ebays.

I see the demise of this website for the newer reverbnation. Any truth to this?

No. This message board is eternal. However, there are some cool things you can do on revernation that I would reccomend as a supplement to this board.
