Since I can't start a thread on del camino, I'll post some stuff from the first three days. Danny has some good ones (especially of Zach) that I'm sure he'll post.

First off, we have a 5 minute video of Lie to Me. Rodney, with your permission, I'd love to post it for everyone. The sound isn't that great but you can get the jist of it. I just have to find out how to shave 2 seconds off of it b/c photobucket limits me to 5 minutes.

We bought this camera on an impulse buy in Austin on the way down. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of time to figure out how to work it before the guys went on. Some of them turned out shitty, but I'll share them anyway:

How was the show?

Show kicked ass but the crowd sucked. Seriously, there were maybe 300 people there for Charlie...and that's his freaking hometown! The rain had much to do with it. They pushed everything back a couple hours. The crowd sucked but I will say that once the boys got up there and started playing, people came down from the stands and there was a good bunch up front. There was a ton of water and mud and I give those who came up some credit for standing in it to hear some guys they have probably never heard. But I think those that were there really liked it. We talked to a few people that really liked what they heard. One of the guys will probably show up here on the board in a couple weeks. He actually found out about the festival from reading our non-sensical ramblings.

With Bandera being the Cowboy Capital of the World, I didn't think a little mud and water would keep them away but it did. But overall, I will say that Bandera people are some of the nicest in the world.

They just gave Brooks, Brooks Jr., and the "whole family" some props on Rev FM. They really worked their asses off and did a good job in shitty circumstances.

One of the DJs also mentioned RP&50PR and how good the show was.
