I hate to pick up a conversation that is now a couple of pages back, but I have been off of the board for a couple of days.
1) The real reason Gabe isn't on the board is because he is illiterate. Don't mention it to him though, he is really sensitive about it.
2) Sorry that all of our participation on the board has been lacking (yeah, yeah, except Danny). We will fix the problem. We love you guys (well, we kind of like some of you).
3) Yes, Joey Kendall is my brother, even though he just moved to LA for a year and cam back looking like a bum and talking deep all the time, I will still claim ownership. He is playing at the show tonight, and he is a great songwriter, worth getting there early for. Also, our friends the Whiskey Folk Ramblers will be playing the middle slot. Some of you guys have probably met these guys, as the whole band comes to every single show we play in Ft. Worth. You will most definitely recognize the guys. They play kind of outlaw-alternative-country. Young band that really gets better every time I see them.

I guess he was fostering the illusion of literacy. I saw Baron lean over and whisper in his ear a few times. I guess he was either telling him what was next or offering an indecent proposal. 3) Joey kept freaking me out with that backpack. I was scared to find out what the hell was in it. When he took it off and opened it, I nearly ran for the door. I was relieved to find it was demo CDs. |
