Hey RP, what about the Ranch? Have you guys tried getting anything played over there? Every night at 10 the DJ has some kind of new Texas music showdown where it puts two relatively unplayed songs together and listeners get to vote for which one stays on for the next night. Sounds kind of cheesy but it would be great exposure. Plus its real easy to get through on that station and I'm sure there's enough Pesos out there to make sure the fix is on. If anything, I kind of know, in a roundabout way, the Saturday evening DJ, Jenna. She keeps telling me to come by while she's working and she'll give me a tour of the studio. If anything, I can drop off your record with her as long as you promise to replace it.

We'd be better off sending her one of our "radio versions" of the disc. It's the same thing but without all the junk in between the songs. Anyway, we would love to get some spins on the ranch. It looked like we had a solid connection over there for a while, but no spins as of yet.

They should have a copy of the cd, or a few of them. It wouldn't hurt if people started calling to ask for it.

I'll talk to Jenna about it. In fact, I won REK tix this morning along w/ What I Really Mean. They told me to come by the station to pick up the cd. I've had it since it came out (my that's coming on a year...) but I figured I'd give this copy to someone who would appreciate it. My girlfriend and I are staying at the Worthington and having dinner at the Reata this weekend so I'll just walk down the street and threaten them w/ a finger in my coat pocket.

Wonderful. The steak was amazing. Best mashed taters ever. They had some kind of tamale pudding. We had gator fingers as an apetizer. That's weird you should mention this b/c I was just talking to a guy at work about that this morning.
Well worth the $$$.

The most I have ever spent on a dinner for two is a little over $200. My dining companion and the restaurant made it worth every penny.

Good point. The 140 was w/ a couple drinks, apps, and desert.
