Yeah, most of the crowd left by the time the guys took the stage. The crowd was older. It was a week night. The music started at 7 so they were the 4th act and I think the crowd had music burnout by then. The Tejas Brothers played at 9 and killed any momentum the crowd had remaining. They are in between drummers and guitar players so it was pretty much an acoustic song swap with them, Max, and LJT. Meh would be exaggerating. Halfway through the Tejas Bros set RP&50PR didn't have a chance. However, despite the room being pretty bare they got the biggest applause by anyone the whole night. Jub was really into it and danced with his wife most of the set.
I spoke to Jub briefly through email the next day and he said he felt really bad b/c he wanted to really showcase the guys to the P1s. He admitted the bill was probably too long and next year they may look to have it on a Friday.

Was Jub the only ticket guy that stayed for RP?

2/3rds of Team Having Fun stayed for about 4 songs. Mike Sirios is my new buddy. He said goodbye to me as he left. I think they may have been the last ones other than Jub.
I was given exclusive insider info by Mr. Sirios himself that Kevin Turner would be filling in for Gordo Friday morning. KT had just found out about an hour before Jub Jam and was understandably nervous. Cirque du Sirios is my new favorite show.

Mike seems like a good guy. I like KT as well. They have a pretty entertaining show.

I meant 1/2. I forgot about Mike "Machine" Marshall. Mike Sirios sent a tweet to me the other day that said "I love your buns." A couple hours later he sent me a private message explaining the tweet...he said he overheard Norm say that to his wife last week. Yuck.
