Well, if this means anything, I had a conversation with Ricky Smith (head of Smith Music Group) a couple months ago about the guys and Billy Bob's that could be meaningful down the road. He said the guys are too good for a silly contest that in no way measures an artist's and band's true talents. He thinks they are good enough to eventually get one of these deals on their own and that he is working to make that happen sooner than later. Now, Ricky is one of those guys that will just talk and talk, esp when he's drunk, so you have to wade through a bunch of "stuff", but this wasn't the first time he's spoken of them with high regard and I'll take him at his word on the matter.

Billy Bob (Barnett) ran the venue into the ground in 88 or so. I think Billy Minick was brought on when they reopened.
