The newish Kroger in Denton by Guyer is pretty awesome if I am in that area. Other wise I just go to Wal-mart cause it is on the north-side of Denton.

I was a Kroger P1 until recently. I'm completely out on Walmart. I refuse to buy food or panties there.

We stick with Walmart or Kroger at our house. Is that where your maid likes to shop?

Kroger is my fallback, closest to the apartment.

Kroger is solid.

It's HEB all the way for me, more often than not they have the best selection at the best prices. I'm also interviewing with them pretty soon so hopefully I'll be on the inside in the next few months.
Wal*Mart here is real hit or miss. Their prices are usually pretty good, but their selection sucks and the quality can get pretty weak at times.
Kroger is solid, but I hate the plus card bs and their prices are usually pretty high compared to HEB.
Never been a fan of any of the other big grocery stores.

I wish we had an HEB here. I like their house brand stuff and like Finch said, the selection is the best.
Kroger has great stuff too. But they are more expensive than HEB.
Tom Thumb is very nice. Never crowded. That is because its the most expensive grocery store there is.
Wal mart here ain't bad. Its no HEB or Kroger but the prices are good and they usually have everything we need

Tom Thumb/Randall's is incredibly overpriced. Kroger has the best store brand foods.

Drive to Burleson. There's your HEB.

Or you can drive to North Richland Hills. Why did the upper lower class get all the HEBs???
Actually, Burleson has turned a corner over the last decade or so but it will still seen as the bathtub of Johnson and Tarrant County.

I am still on the fence about the worth of that Kroger card. I use it everytime, but it seems like I'm not saving much money. Did get 5 cents off a gallon of gas.

I have been pleasantly surprised about Burleson. Pretty cool little "old town" area down here with good local restaurants and whatnot. One bad thing is the damn traffic on 35 makes it hard to get around.

Try not using your Kroger card and you'll see the difference. Do you ever watch the screen as they apply the Kroger discounts? It's like rolling back prices.
Lonnie always takes me to some Mexican food join in that old town Burleson when I go hang out with him. Pretty good little place. Pretty good little place.
