Well, North Texas gave the Sun Belt conference tourney and a bid to the dance away tonight by blowing a 13 point lead in the final 8 minutes. So, it reminded me to open this back up. Here are the details. You can enter 2 brackets each.
Yahoo College Basketball Tournament Pickem ID#33577 pw - rp50pr
Good luck!

True statement, college basketball took it on the chin this year.

Yea this is the least I have ever paid attention. Probably cause the Aggies were terrible. I watched more of the UNT game last night than I have of any Aggies games.

I have watched about half of three Aggie games and that is it.

I've watched about 40% of 6 or 7 TCU games this year. Very entertaining games. Almost upset 3 ranked teams at home on consecutive Saturdays. They took SDSU to OT the other night and lost. Great turnaround from 1 conference win last year. Now they're the #4 seed in the tourney and if they win 2 games are almost a shoe-in for an NIT. For the most part, the NIT is completely spare but it would be a huge accomplishment for a program that has been stuck in the peachbasket and set shot era for about a dozen years.

That entire post was filled with "almost wins."

well, Arkansas' season just petered out with about a 20 point loss to LSU. No heart, no brains, no courage. We are the freaking Wizard of Oz of college basketball.

About 10 min. left in the Ags season, hopefully Kennedy has a new game plan for next season.

This has been a clunker of a basketball season in Texas. SMU is about to give the ax to Matt Dougherty. UT would probably need to win the B12 tourney to make the dance. UTA is our only hope.

I think if Texas can beat Iowa St today they will sneak in. Maybe be in that play-in 12 v 12 or 13 v 13 game they started last year.

They'll probably get in by default. Lots of bad basketball teams around the country this year.

I agree with Fisch, if this were a good year for college basketball they would definitely be out, but there just aren't any decent teams to put in ahead of them. I think tu is for sure with probably a 10 seed.
