A girl at TCU committed suicide the other day. That makes 5 students in 24 months. Last year a girl down the street from us killed herself. That just seems like a high amount given the small student population. I remember one guy killing himself at UNT. I don't recall any at TCU when I was there. What was it like at A&M or anywhere else? No disagreement here. The girl down the street was from Southlake. She was a cheerleader in HS and in pageants. Being 24 and not yet graduated I'm sure she had tons of pressure from her parents to keep up appearances. Guess it was too much to handle. Doesn't surprise me...my grandparents lived there for years and I drive through it every day to work...those people live on a completely different planet than everyone else.

She was cute. Average for TCU standards but 10 years ago I wouldn't have kicked her out of bed. From what I've heard it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The girl that shot herself last year I'd rate an 8.75.
