Just because its a crossover game, doesn't mean that it will be our biggest rivalry game. Our biggest rivalry game will now be LSU and the Hogs. Don't you actually have to beat the other team before its considered a rivalry?

Yes. That's why Tcu vs ags never took off.
In related news, the ags beat lsu 6 of the last 7 we played. Lsu admittedly still owes us money from backing out of our annual series

Here is how I see the break down of rivals for the Ags in the SEC.
***Disclaimer*** This is not a comparison of programs, just how I think the annual match up will be viewed to Aggie fans in the future.
Bama=OU, a team you always want to beat but don't expect to.
LSU=tu, the game you look forward to every year and want to win more than any other
Arkansas=tech, a toss up game every year and one you kind of expect to win but absolutely hate to lose.
Auburn=OSU, always a tough match up no matter the record, but one you usually expect to win.
Again, not saying these will be the actual results of games, just how the perception will be among fans.
LSU, Ark, Bama, Auburn is how I would rank the rivals

Just remembered I forgot South Carolina. I guess I would put them in with Auburn, but I'm not really sure.

What about the Mississippis? LOL Miss is like Kansas, only without the basketball glory and with white sheets and hoods. Misstake is a little more formidable. They always reminded me of Texas A&M.

What about the Mississippis? Hopefully the Ags win enough that they never really strike up a rivalry with either team.

One benefit of no more Aggie/Mizzou game, it keeps Mizzou from playing any meaningful games in Texas which hurts their recruiting. Suck on that, Mizzou.

good point. South Carolina will, but they are never going to get their lifeblood (recruitingwise) in Texas.

good point. South Carolina will, but they are never going to get their lifeblood (recruitingwise) in Texas. SC is too close to Florida/Ga to have to recruit Texas. Hell, even SC puts out some great players. Meanwhile, Missouri is totally dependent on Texas for football players.

Temple paid the MAC $6M to leave for the BE in football this year?? Either TCU got out easy (5M) or Temple is dramatically overpaying. They don't join in other sports until 2013. Currently, all other sports are in the A-10 and they will pay that conference an additional $1M. So they are paying $6M just to play football in the BEast this year???

Mike, did Petrino get into a motorcycle accident this weekend? I thought I saw that somewhere.
If so, is he alright?
