Mike - I love storage wars (the original one, not the texas crap) and I think it's on the up and up. I just don't think you find that many rare items. The Texas one is just ridiculous, like I said I met all the Texas Storage Wars people/actors.
Sully - I have an agent who contacts me when casting directors are looking for an actor where I fit the spec. So 20's or early 30's 5'8" to 6'0" no beard, ridiculously good looking, has a huge dick you know people like me. Then I go see the casting director to audition along with all the other me look alikes and they pic who they want in the commercial or movie. There is a national casting site that puts out general notices for people who live in the swamp and hunt alligators. People submit, they make a show and spice it up and you have Swamp People.
Like I said I just got one for gay families so if you see a show in the next month about gay families you'll know at least some of it is fake.

Most of the reality shows are real people or actors who happen to buy storage units but the show is usually fake. Pawn Stars for example is a real place and those are the real owners but do you think the cameras sit there 24/7 just waiting for a unique item to show up?
I don't watch it but didn't they just hire a decent looking chick to run the night shift? They probably had auditions for her, plus auditions for guys who didn't get hired.
Pawn Stars is real.......it's probably just spiced up a little.

So what kind of acting work are you actually doing Doyle? I just realized this all wasn't a bit by seeing you facebook page. I wasn't informed on your current adventures.

My auditions breakdown as follows
90% commercial.....it pays stupid money for what we actually do 10% film/tv.....mostly local indie films and tv shows like army wives and the lying game (shot in austin)

Superstar will never happen for me, I won't even break recognizable since I live in Dallas. I have to consider it a side job since there just isn't enough opportunity here. I'm working on a couple things that if they go well it might help my career.

You should star in Wise County Breaking Bad.

Charles Baker, also known as Skinny Pete from breaking bad is with the same agency as I am. He was on the Ticket a year or so ago talking with BAD radio about breaking bad.

Yeah, I remember that.
You are slowly creaping up my list. If you can nail a Sweetjack TV spot then you'll nail down #5.
