TCU beats Boise and we gotta hear all this shit again. Damn Stubbs, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. SMU and Baylor beat the shit out of TCU. SMU and Baylor don't deserve to go to a bowl game this year. TCU has no case for a BCS bid. If, by some odd chance, they get in, that's just absolutely crazy.

I wouldn't say Baylor beat the shit out of TCU. But I'll agree with the rest of your statement.

Losses to SMU and Baylor should automatically preclude TCU from the BCS.
Sully, Finch said the same thing when we saw Boise won. He was pissed. He said now we have to listen to Stubbs talk about how good TCU is and how they deserve to be in the MNC talk... He was being sarcastic but was surprisingly close.

TCU is 19 in the BCS. How do you figure they jump up that many spots? How do you figure a 2 loss MWC team will pass any other 2 loss teams from BCS conferences? Colorado St and UNLV left? Not exactly teams that will catapult you when you beat them.

They won't be in the BCS. Surely not.
The point is that Stubbs acts like they should be. They are a very average mid major. Its incredible that he is so ignorant of that fact.

One in OT and the other by a FG in the last minute. You're funny.

TCU may not sniff the top 25. Most voters treat the polls like standings...one team loses so the next moves up. Most voters have a flawed reality of the top 25.

I never once said they were worthy of one. I just said there's a good change based on how the system is drafted. If you want to debate the worthiness of TCU versus Southern Miss or UH I'll be all about it but I'm not going to argue that TCU is more worthy than the third place team in the SEC.

My point was Sully said we got the snot beat out of us which wasn't the case. Look towards Lubbock if you want an example of what that looks like.

If any of the following teams have 2 losses, they should be ahead of TCU for BCS consideration...
Oregon, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Stanford, South Carolina, Kansas St, Georgia, Michigan St, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn St
And if any of these have 3 losses, they should be ahead of a 2 loss TCU...
All of the above plus, Florida St, Baylor, Texas, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Cincinatti
And if Auburn finishes with 4 losses, they should be ahead of TCU.

Why not Houston? TCU has 2 losses to poor teams. They don't deserve it over Houston.

You're missing the point...it's not about consideration. It's not that one of the bowls will choose TCU over, say, Arkansas. It's the fact that there is an automatic qualifier for non-AQ schools. The BCS HAS to take them if they qualify. The fact that you included Texas, Cincy, Wake, and Notre Dame tells me that your position in the pick 'em is justified. Texas may be the most ridiculous of them all.

I will agree with your Texas point Stubbs. However, in Sully's defense, he does have more picks correctly than you. He just needs to work on confidence points.

Why not Houston? TCU has 2 losses to poor teams. They don't deserve it over Houston. What has Houston done? Their best win so far is over a 5-5 UCLA. They beat LaTech in the last minute. Struggled with UTEP. Baylor will probably finish 8-4. I can name 70 teams in the nation that would take that. SMU will finish 7-5. Again, you're showing your ignorance. Am I supposed to get on my knees and service UH for putting up 73 against Rice?
