i barely remember the rockets championships in 94 and 95. i remember having clutch city signs in my bedroom window. i dont remember the actual games though. Basketball has never been a favorite of mine. I have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to that and soccer.
2005 i was at game 3 of the world series with my buddy titus and his wife, jill. i met "mike delfino" (hot plumber guy) from desperate housewives. he was hot. my phone died 3 weeks later, picture lost. still have my ticket from that series. i plan on doing a shadow box with it someday. just never got around to it. the game was the longest game i've ever been to. i was at minute maid park until 2:30 am. it was a tough loss to the chicago white sox but i loved every minute of it and was the best $500 i've ever spent in my entire life.
cougars have won several C-USA championships, 2006 was the most recent with football. but as everyone so loves to remind me, that doesnt mean anything because it's not big 12 or SEC or any other "special" meaningful conference. I honestly havent kept up much with UH baseball. I've been to games here and there, but not enough to be able to report on players and stats and all other things. MLB consumes my baseball life. i do know that several of the cougar players from this past season got drafted decently high.
